Meridel Newton is a research analyst and writer living in Washington, D.C. She is an alumna of the Futurescapes workshop and a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association. She has published stories in print anthologies such as 1001 Knights and Recognize Fascism, web zines like Giganotosaurus and Issues in Earth Science, and various other venues. She is also the author of the Shelter Trilogy, a series of post-apocalyptic novellas from Interstellar Flight Press.
