Gene, that’s pretty interesting about the statue you made yourself. At least he’s still around, long-faced or not. As far as these cartoons go, the opening shot (and at bottom) by Porges is my favorite. How would/could he possibly get out from underneath? It’s better we don’t know.
The only statue I ever made was with leftover sidewalk cement. It was the head of a happy man, but gravity took over. He’s still out in the garden , a very long-faced sad fellow.
