I believe a picture of me sitting in the middle of a crib at Sick Children’s Hospital as a Coeliac patient was posted in the centre on one of the covers of the Saturday Evening Post circa 1936/37
If you could help me locate it, it would be greatly appreciated, I was with the disease at that time and the dire prognosis was n early death at age ten, my birth date is 10-05-1934 and am writing this inquiry at age 82, if possible please help
I love these pictures and the way “ladies and gentlemen” are portrayed. Some of the clothes are beautiful and so classy.
I absolutely love these illustrations! A shame artists don’t draw like this anymore. I recently subscribed to the Saturday Evening Post, for the first time. I know I won’t regret it.
There’s just nothing quite like the early and mid-1900’s artwork illustrations and images is there, Jennifer?
I love them all, but in particular those by Al Parker, Robert Meyers, Joe de Mers, Coby Whitmore and Bob Hilbert (Larcenous Lady). I’d like to know more about that letter in her right hand, and I think she does too.
I have never tired of studying the amazing creations for the cover of the Saturday Evening Post…no matter what year it was published. Those past years seemed like such simpler and kinder days. Wish there was more awareness now.
I love the pictures.
Wonderful pictures I will treasure them..I MISS THOSE DAYS..Thank you so much..
